Kate Palao is the President and CEO of Hudson Financial Services, a wealth management firm dedicated to helping clients build strong financial futures. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and fiduciary, Kate is committed to providing objective advice and reliable service to help clients meet their evolving financial needs—both now and in the future.
Kate works closely with clients to deliver personalized investment management, comprehensive financial planning, retirement income strategies, and tax planning solutions. She understands that thinking about the future can often bring uncertainty, and she takes pride in helping clients cut through that complexity to make confident, informed decisions.
At the core of Kate’s philosophy is the belief that wealth is about more than just numbers—it’s about what money makes possible. Whether that means retiring early, spending more time with family, or experiencing meaningful life moments, Kate partners with clients to identify what matters most and build strategies to help them pursue those goals.
After graduating from American University with a B.A. in Political Science and Economics, Kate began her career at Smith Barney. In 2006, she joined Hudson Financial Services, continuing a multi-generational legacy alongside her father, Gary Ramuno. Her passion for helping clients feel confident in their financial lives led her to earn her CFP® designation in 2010.
Outside of the office, Kate is actively involved in her local community and enjoys lives in Pleasantville, NY, with her husband and their two children. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and reading.
